Romo is an amazing sideways dribblers chopping up defenders for fun. He also has a very powerful shot. The Total Futbol Academy product is having a high school season for the ages and is a major candidate to win Gatorade Player of the Year.

The TFA product is having a fantastic high school season for the Southern California sports powerhouse Mater Dei. His side are the #2 ranked team in California and is a perfect 9-0. He has scored 14 goals and has 10 dimes this season leading the Monarchs in both categories. Still only a Junior Romo has a bright future indeed he’s a lethal finisher. He is as likely to score with his left foot, right foot or with his head making him very difficult to defend.

Romo is a cool customer who loves the game of soccer. He plays with a passion and an energy that is palpable. Oh, and he’s pretty talented, too. He’s technical skills are off the chart as he is incredible with ball at his feet. He moves quickly on the ball, showing explosion. His ability to finish is just as good as he knows exactly what to do and where to place the ball. He finishes with pace and power, and with touch. His ability to carry and create attacking opportunities is perhaps his strongest characteristic as he can open up space with his ability to beat defenders and create havoc.
