Meador and her Sting Royal U16 team are set to meet WNY Flash, Florida Krush and Portland Thorns in this weekend’s event. Capable of playing as an outside back or in midfield, she’s one of the pillars in her team with how efficiently and consistently she performs. Meador has a well-rounded game and a very high soccer IQ, which allows her to adjust to her team’s needs and deliver what they require. She has tremendous quality on the ball, being a smart and efficient passer, and also stands out with her ability in set pieces. Meador also thrives defensively, making good choices and playing with great determination.

Meador plays for the Sting Royal 10 team that is ready to face Kansas City Athletics, La Roca FC and Match Fit Academy in the event. Recently invited to participate in a US Soccer Talent ID event, she’s a key player for the team with her ability to play multiple positions at a very high level. Meador can be used at both outside back spots and also anywhere across the midfield. That’s only possible because of her impressive intelligence and strong all-around game. Meador stands out for her solid fundamentals and her ability to perform different actions efficiently. She has great vision and accuracy with her passing and also hits the ball extremely well, being very dangerous in set pieces. She also holds her own defensively, playing hard and efficiently.

Meador played a few different roles for Sting during the match, appearing as a central midfielder and also in wider positions, both in midfield and the backline. She didn’t put a foot wrong during the entire match, always finding good options to continue plays and not losing possession. In the second half, with Sting looking for a comeback, the ball went through Meador very often and she helped articulate some dangerous plays with her passing. She converted the penalty kick to score their second goal and also did a good job with set pieces.
