Kopmeyer is one of two 2028s on the New England roster. I saw her play as a center forward for her club side during the ECNL Champions League playoffs. She is listed as a forward and midfielder on the Conference Cup roster. I think she’s at her best as an attacking midfielder or a support striker, but she can play as the No. 9 if needed. She is very good when the ball is at her feet and she can face forward and attack the defense on the dribble. She is a creative player who relies on her skill and quick feet to navigate bigger opponents. She has a nice cutback pass that is tough to defend because she hides it well to keep the defense guessing. Kopmeyer’s skill and intelligence should shine with the high level of teammates from this group.
