ECNL Playoffs Bring National Talent and College Coaches to PNW

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2026 Girls ECNL National Playoffs and Finals took to the pitch yesterday at 60 acres park in Redmond, WA. The top clubs, teams and athletes will be showing out all week in front of hundreds of college coaches from around the country. NCAA Division 1 coaching staffs from the likes of Notre Dame, Stanford, Arizona State, Baylor, Kansas State, Nebraska: Omaha, Florida State and of course the hometown University of Washington Huskies, are roaming the sidelines looking for their next big recruit! There will be over 250 college coaching staffs on location this week from all three NCAA divisions as well as NAIA and JC. These athletes will be bringing the best version of themselves to the pitch at every match to show these coaches how they can make an impact in their programs!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The U13-U17 age groups will be featured this week taking part in the Champions League playoffs and finals, as well as the Showcase Cup, North American Cup and Friendlies. The Champions League playoffs and finals always feature the top teams throughout the country from their respective conferences. These squads have been battling all season to secure their rightful place in the Champions League bracketing. She hit the ground running and made a splash early this weekend with a nice, slotted goal on a 1v1. Sturrock is a talented forward that has a nose for goal. She has breakaway speed in open space and fantastic field vision. She has smooth touches on the ball with pace and looks to be in control of every movement on and off the ball. Her technical ability is obvious and the quickness she has with the ball at her feet is top notch. The Michigan State commit has a great supporting cast in her Slammers FC HB Koge G09 team, but she definitely stands out even amongst other stellar athletes. She moves well in the box and commands the space accordingly. Newton flashed good hands even with difficult shots and positioning. This accompanied with her strong leg, makes her a force in the defense. Newton has been impressive throughout her youth career and will be taking her talents to Seton Hall after High School. She is purely dominate in her attacking position and dangerous whenever the ball is at her feet. She's a physical presence that most defenders cannot handle easily. Her strikes are powerful and accurate. Change can assist with a beautiful touch pass just as much as score with a precision strike. GSA G11. She uses her smaller frame to avoid big contact by emphasizing her quickness into space. Harrell has a nice first touch and displayed her eye for goal by slotting a nice one around the GK during the run of play. Primarily sitting in the center back position, she has the ability to defend the attack and set pieces with her size and also can play through the back well. Charlotte has great foot skills and plays well under pressure. Her ability to play long balls to the attacking third is a great asset for her position.
