She’s one of their most important players, helping the team control the central area of the field and dictate the pace of matches. Cross does solid defensive work, shielding Rise’s backline efficiently and thriving in intercepting long passes and winning duels. An excellent passer, she is terrific at moving the ball around and, even when under pressure, can find teammates in good spots and help her team generate chances.
