Chloe Trotter Chloe Trotter M MI plays as a midfielder and a forward for Michigan Hawks G08. She is a physical and smart player who makes a difference for The Hawks on both sides of the field. Trotter displays confidence in how she plays and reads the game well. She does very well defensively staying with her mark and going into tackles. She often connects her pass right after winning the ball back for her team. Trotter showed that she has the ability to change the attacking game by being able to find the open player in the final third. She has her head up and already knows where she wants to go before the ball gets to her. She has a good shot and is willing to take chances to challenge the goal keeper. Overall, Chloe Trotter Chloe Trotter M MI is a hard-working player who makes a difference for this team. She showcased she can play in the midfield well and add creativity to the attacking game.

I wrote about Trotter’s performance as a center back during the games on Monday, but she was clearly playing defensive midfield against So Cal Blues during the knock out game. There were plenty of great performances from Hawks throughout the week, but Trotter earns the spotlight in this Team of the Event. She is so calm and cool on the ball. It seems like nothing troubles or worries her. With subtle body feints from dropping to the shoulder to the half fake on the pass, Trotter is an expert at creating space in tight areas. She has the potential to be a top prospect in her position at a national level. Nina Laba and Amber Weaver were excellent at center back for Hawks against Blues. Brooklynn Schomaker did well at left back. She was smart in possession and fiercely competitive defensively.
