Brooks was ranked as the seventh-best goalkeeper in Texas in the age group and is listed in 65th place overall in the Class of 2029. He represents Allen at the high school level and is part of the Dallas Hornets team in the MLS Next League, having been in USYNT ID camps in the past. Equipped with long arms and excellent reflexes, Brooks is very difficult to score against, reacting quickly to close-range shots, using his length to get to shots in the corners and doing a great job of getting to the ball first when he leaves his spot. He communicates well with his backline and is capable of connecting accurate passes with his left foot.
