Mya may play in traditional midfield role most matches, but this time around she made her presence known in the defensive back field. She battles for every 50/50 ball and skillfully dispossesses her opponents at will. Muniz has a notable touch to her passes that seem to be weighted perfectly for her attacking teammates. Her ability to play in the defensive 3rd and transition forward into the attack through distribution, helped lead her team to victory. Mya has been recognized at the USYNT level, and she showed everyone why that’s the case while helping lead her team to a 2026 ECNL National Championship.

Muniz is the fifth-best midfielder on the list and appears in 22nd place overall. She captains FC Dallas G09 in the ECNL League and plays high school soccer for Allen. A technical and intelligent player, Muniz controls the game from the center of the field with a rare combination of reading the game extremely well and executing passes with excellent timing and accuracy. She constantly looks for the ball and does good things with it, making great decisions in possession and helping her team move it upfield. Muniz is very active defensively, too, covering a lot of ground in the center of the field, and eventually steps into the attacking penalty box to finish chances.

Muniz will captain FC Dallas U17 in their matches against Richmond United, LV Heat Surf and Penn Fusion SA. A technical and intelligent central midfielder, she controls the pace of the game with her efficient distribution. Muniz’s passing range allows her to play a major role in the team’s offensive system, connecting her teammates and playing direct passes for them in the final third. She’s also very active and intense defensively, reading plays well to step up and win possession.

Muniz captains FC Dallas 09 in the ECNL League and is a member of the Allen High School varsity team. An all-around player, she appears very well on both sides of the ball and is one of the pillars of her team, making a major impact from central midfield. Muniz is very active defensively, using her high soccer IQ to step into the right spots to win the ball, and is very disciplined with her positioning. The midfielder also makes a major impact offensively as she plays a major role in organizing her team’s attacking efforts by using her vision and creativity to manipulate the ball in the center of the field and get it to the attacking players.
