Fry got on the scoresheet for Slammers and the future Tennessee Volunteer showed why she is headed to one of the best teams in the country. Fantastic performance from the winger. She was torturing Courage defenders on the dribble and getting in behind.

Fry is one of the biggest movers in this update. The Santa Margarita High junior just recently committed to Tennessee. Fry is very impressive when it comes to her pace and her ability to vary up that pace. She can lull a defender to sleep and then explode. She also changes direction so seamlessly, and when you watch her play, she will cut and is already moving before the defender has reacted to that cut. She is terrific on the ball in space, she drives downhill hard and she can finish with either foot. The Vols are getting a good one.

Fry will be another component of this Slammers side that will have to step up and make plays in front of net to advance to Saturday. She showed out in Seattle and created several opportunities for her teammates and herself, so prepare to to her feature in a few key areas when the games kickoff.

Fry is one of the standouts on the Slammers FC HB Koge 08 ECNL team. She is a winger/forward who had a great high school season and hot start to the postseason run at the club level. The one critique I would levy on Fry’s game is that her self-made highlights are not a great representation of her impact on the field. She is an extremely talented playmaker and finisher. She can line up on the wing or as a center forward. She has a good first touch and excellent control of the ball. She is a better passer than her peers who play a similar role. She is physical and keeps her balance under tackles really well. She is good finisher and efficient with her chances. Fry was an ECNL All-Conference Second Team selection last season, but she would’ve been a First Team selection in pretty much any other conference in the ECNL.
