Staying in state Bertos has chosen Boston University as her next home in 2027. She has an excellent body of work thus far in her young career. She can be a day 1 difference maker for the Terriers and I’m sure there will be interest from bigger programs after seasons 1-3.

Bertos is a forward on the FC Stars Blue 08 ECNL team. She is a skillful, clever player. She comes from a soccer family. Her brother, Harrison, was selected in the MLS Superdraft this past year. Bertos is making a name for herself in the ECNL this season. She’s got a knack for creating chances in the final third. With heel flicks, body feints, and a plethora of moves on the dribble, she’s been highly effective at the ECNL level. Bertos is very competitive and that will translate to the next level. She’s a fascinating prospect as she could play as a No. 9 or play on the wing as a No. 7 or No. 11. She’s good at playing with her back to the goal and has the height to be a target. She tends to outsmart the defender rather than use her size to force the ball past the mark. The soccer intelligence suggests a lot of time watching the game. There is going to be a lot of interest in her early on in the recruiting process. She’s proven on game film this season that she should be considered among the top forwards in the Northeast for this class.
