She is a gritty defender winning a ton of 50-50’s and excellent on the ball combining a ton of passes while also progressing the ball forward on the dribble.

Phillips was one of the biggest risers from the event. The midfielder showed a high-level tactical acumen as one of the leaders of the Hawks side. Michigan came up just short of advancing to the next round, but Phillips put together a highlight reel from Redmond that should get her on the radar for all the top programs.
