Standing at 6’5″, Miranda uses his big frame very well to win duels and to shield the ball, and he operates with impressive confidence under pressure, not giving the ball away and not allowing opponents to disrupt his game. He likes to drop deeper to impact the game with his distribution out of the back but also appears in the final third to contribute goals and assists, especially in set pieces.
