About Genevieve

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I love the creativity and teamwork of soccer. I excel in the passing game with creative, technical, possesion oriented style. I am a solid athlete with a competitive drive, strong soccer IQ and tactical skills, high percentage completed passes, awesome long ball, excellent first touch, and strong in the air. I have a very good technical foundation, speed, hard worker, & adpatable.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm calm under pressure, lead by example, and a strong team player. I'm unselfish but know when to be. I build teammates up and am well liked. I am not the flashy loud one, but have a voice and presence. I'm humble, have developed mental toughness & don't give up.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honor Roll, Student of the Month "Success", Student of the Month "Kindness", Student of the Month "Bobcat Spirit", Student of the Month "All 5 Guiding Principles", "Heart of the Bobcat"- Sumner Middle School Girls Soccer award

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

In middle school I was voted as Varsity Captain & told I'm a servant leader in club and school sports.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I'm a bubble player who played with the ECNL team growing up. We played Pre-ECNL up an age group. When the year came for ECNL, I was told I was "too short" & moved to ECNL-RL; but practice with ECNL. The mental resiliency, extra practices with 2 teams, grit, and determination I've developed have made me into a better player today.

What type of college are you looking for?

I take academics seriously. I'd like to stay in the PNW & attend a university or college offering bachelor in arts degrees.
