About Haleigh
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I excel in my soccer IQ, high-energy work ethic, and versatility which enables me to be a key utility player at both the high school and club level. I have excellent vision of the field and give 110% in everything I do. I am good at getting in the attack from an outside back position distributing many crosses and through balls where my team is then able to create goal scoring opportunities.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a dedicated and highly coachable player with a high amount of grit. I’m very competitive and put an extensive amount of effort into everything I do. My work ethic and work rate is always at a high level, as I strive for success on the field and in the classroom.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am highly involved at my school as I am part of National Honor Society , Hopesquad, Student Council, Principals Advisory Council and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I am a three sport letterman (soccer, cross country and track). I have gotten many leadership awards for the clubs I’m involved in, as well as having received academic all district for soccer, cross country, and track.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have developed a wide range of qualities through the organizations I participate in. One of the most important is leadership, as I am expected to serve as a role model at my school and set the standard for success. In this role, I guide my peers and encourage them to achieve their full potential. Additionally, I have learned how to collaborate effectively by sharing ideas and working with others
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One challenge I have faced was moving schools before starting my freshman year of high school. This was challenging to me because it pushed me outside of my comfort zone and made me have to develop new relationships with coaches, teachers, and friends. It ultimately pushed me to become comfortable with not being comfortable which let me change my mindset towards new beginnings.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college team where I can make an immediately impact, while pursuing a degree in pre-med. I am highly committed to my academics and I want a school that fits both my academic and athletic success.
