Pike is one of the goalkeepers of Sting Royal U17 and will be with them for the matches against VDA, SLSG Navy and Gretna Elite Academy. She’s very tough between the posts, combining superior technical skills and a determined mindset that will give her the energy to do whatever it takes to keep the ball out of the goal. Pike’s reflexes are truly elite and allow her to make impressive stops in short-distance shots. She also distributes the ball well out of the back and is often involved in the team’s buildup.

Pike plays for the Sting Dallas Royal 09 team that finished third in the Texas Conference with 12 wins, two losses and a tie and will play in the Champions League in Seattle. This team has one of the strongest defensive systems in the state and much of it can be credited to her efficiency between the posts. Pike is always very calm and is ready to step up when her team needs her, using her reflexes and diving ability to get to well-placed shots near the corner. The goalkeeper is very efficient when she needs to step outside her area to stop opponents in 1v1 situations and does an excellent job of putting the ball back in play with accurate passes and throws.

Sting Dallas Royal were one of just two teams to not concede any goals in the division and much of it was due to Pike’s strong presence between the posts. The backline did an excellent job in front of her during the weekend, now allowing many chances to opponents, but when that happened, Pike was there to stop them. I watched her in a 2-0 win over Indy Eleven Pro Academy and she made a truly impressive save near the end of the first half in a 1v1 situation. Pike displayed to be very calm between the posts and to have the reflexes to deal with anything. She also contributed to the team’s possession-heavy style, putting the ball back in play with great intelligence and precision.
