Nnamani was highlighted as a midfielder to watch heading into the event and lived up to the billing. The attacking midfielder is a player who could be one of the best in the ECNL Texas Conference next season. There is a high ceiling on her potential and she continues to grow into a bigger role within her team as her confidence grows. An aspect of her game that stood out from the playoffs was her ability to create separation from defenders and her comfort in receiving the ball while having a player on her back. She is always working to be an option for her teammates. When she is on the ball, she is exceptional at retaining possession for her side. She can play the pass to progress up the field, but she shows a preference to making the decision to keep it with her side rather than risk it. Nnamani has creativity to break down the opposition in the final third and scored a goal at the event.

In her first season with DKSC 08, Nnamani helped the team produce a campaign of nine wins, three losses and three ties in the Texas Conference and qualify for the Champions League playoffs. She’s extremely dangerous in the attacking midfielder role because of how direct and lethal she can be in the final third. Nnamani is very good at finding pockets of space to get on the ball and when she has possession she’s a handful to defend because of how easily she can beat defenders with turns and moves while also pushing the ball towards the goal. Because she shoots so well, the midfielder has the ability to create and finish chances at a high level.

One of the positives of the competitive ECRL in Texas is that the level of play has helped a number of players work on their craft and earn spots on ECNL teams during the season and for the next season. Nnamani is one of those success stories. After a strong campaign with FC Dallas ECNL-RL 08 last season, she is now getting a shot in the ECNL with DKSC for the upcoming campaign. Nnamani is an attacking midfielder who really impressed me with her confidence playing through the center of the field. She never hides from the ball and is always working to get touches. She had a few dominant games last season while playing for the FC Dallas group, which was one of the most enjoyable teams to watch from a style of play aspect. Nnamani is one to watch this season as she adjusts to her team and new level.
