Tuzzolino is listed as the seventh-best defender in the state and made it to the top-20 overall, appearing in 19th place. She plays high school soccer for Prosper and is part of the strong Sting Royal U17 team that competes in the ECNL League. Primarily a left back, she has a very solid all-around game and can play on the right as well, and even in central defense. Much of Tuzzolino’s complete and efficient game is due to her high soccer IQ, which allows her to make the right decisions on both sides of the ball and play the game with very few errors. She’s solid in 1v1 duels and stands out for her positioning on the defensive side of the game, while distributing the ball wisely and delivering accurate crosses.

Tuzzolino will be with Sting Dallas Royal 09 in their matches against Arizona Arsenal, Eclipse Select SC and Beach FC in Phoenix. One of the most complete and versatile defenders in Texas in her age group, she switched clubs this season, joining Sting from FC Dallas and strengthening what was already a solid backline. She can play anywhere across the backline, but is more often used at left back. Tuzzolino is a lockdown defenders, who has a very high soccer IQ and does a very good job of using her positioning to push opposing forwards into uncomfortable spots. She’s also very clean on the ball, having the ability to break lines with her passing, and is an excellent crosser.

is a dynamic defender with outstanding crossing ability from the class of 2027. Tuzzolino is able to consistently find the byline and deliver dangerous passes into the box. Tuzzolino’s intelligence on the pitch, combined with her quick decision making boosted her team’s ability to press down the field. Tuzzolino uses strength, physicality and fearlessness to get stuck in and hinder the opposing team’s press.
Tuzzolino stands at 5’6 and has a solid build that she is able to use effectively both on the attack and during the defense. She utilizes her athleticism to cover large amounts of ground quickly and gives her the ability to make a difference for her team on both sides of the ball. Tuzzolino was truly one of the standouts during the camp.

Tuzzolino will be a key piece for FC Dallas G08 when they face SLSG Navy, PDA Blue and San Diego Surf this weekend. She’s one of the team’s building blocks with her ability to play anywhere across the backline and to make efficient defensive plays. Tuzzolino is probably better suited in one of the outside back positions, but she plays hard enough to be used in central defense too. One of the keys to her defensive effectiveness is how well she positions her body in every play, sending opposing players exactly where she wants them to go before she can tackle them. The outside back is also very precise and intelligent with her passing.

One of the captains of her FC Dallas G09 ECNL team, Tuzzolino is an extremely valuable element for them on the field. A player with a very high soccer IQ, she can play anywhere across the backline and is capable of providing what each position requires. Tuzzolino is very strong defensively, making intelligent decisions when trying to win the ball back and timing her tackles extremely well. She plays hard when necessary, but also succeeds by reading the game well and making anticipations. The outside back is also solid in possession, connecting good passes out of the back.

FC Dallas’ captain had a great performance, helping her team secure a clean sheet and contributing in different ways. Tuzzolino played in three different positions across the backline, starting at left back, and the moving to center back and right back and delivered exactly what the team needed in each of them, displaying a very high soccer IQ. She was also always very clean in possession and connected good passes from the back. Tuzzolino was very strong defensively and played an error-free match, giving consistency to the team.

Tuzzolino is a defender for FC Dallas 09 ECNL. She was part of the U.S. U14 Girls National Team Central Region ID Center in March. She can play as either an outside back or as a center back. She is an excellent defender. Really good at using her body to control where the attacker can go. She is smart about her approach and anticipates the game well. She is good on the ball and above average in the elite game for a passer. Her player profile projects an outside back but the door shouldn’t be closed on her potential as a center back in a back three. Every game I watched of FC Dallas last season, I came away more impressed by Tuzzolino. She possesses big-time potential. I don’t believe she has played in the opening games this season for FC Dallas 09 ECNL.
