Knisely is a center back on the Ohio Premier 2011 ECNL squad. She was recently part of a US Soccer Talent ID event.

Knisely plays right center back for her club team. She is an excellent on-ball defender. She uses her body well in the tackle. She shows excellent technique in that regard – and easy to see why US Soccer scouts would rate her highly as a center back.

She is confident on the ball and an aggressive playmaker for the position. Knisely will try to fit a pass through a small window. She is always trying to split lines and open up the opposition with her quality on the ball. She is a bit cavalier in that regard, but the playmaking ideas are an asset for the position and can be a benefit for any squad that relies on the center back to bypass the midfield for creating chances.

Knisely has big-time potential. She’s an excellent defender and showed that quality this summer. She should be a top target in that position from the Ohio 2029 class.
