A heavyweight battle between Slammers HBK and XF Academy saw Slammers come out on top 2-0 and Churchill played a big part in that. She scored a very well taken goal with her left foot and orchestrated so many positive attacks for her side. She’s so calm and creative on the ball making defenders miss on the dribble as well as fitting passes into the tightest of windows. One of my absolute favorite players to watch, she never disappoints.

She was impressive today against FC Stars. She can turn out of so many binds. She’s a three point queen. She uses quick tight touch to get away from players exceptionally well. Really good vision and decision making. She puts great weight on her through balls to put her teammates advantageous spots. Corner kick queen. Statistically speaking she puts them in the best spots for success.

Her Roosevelt Mustang’s are a top 25 ranked team in the state and she is having a Junior season for the ages. With 26 goals and 6 assists this future Texas A&M Aggie is headed to the SEC for a reason. She has a breathtaking burst of speed and is very direct with her dribbling always looking towards goal. She shoots the ball with insane venom I wouldn’t want to be a defender trying to block it. Really bright future for this young Slammers product.

As a part of the front line that put up the second most goals in Seattle among the Elite 8, Churchill is going to be looking for chances often in order to make sure her team advances to the semis and beyond. Slammers’ goal totals did dwindle after their first match, scoring 6 in their final three matches after netting 7 in the opener, so she will be asked to make the most of those chances once that first whistle blows.
