York scored an absolute stunner today with her left foot from about 25 yards out with her left foot that flew into the top corner. It was my first time watching her play and I am glad I had the pleasure of doing so. She is a top prospect with excellent athleticism and technical ability. Her Grey side ended up with a 4-2 win over Real Madrid and she was a big reason why.

Tophat likely feels unfulfilled after losing in the semifinal, but there is still a playoff upcoming for the redemption of this squad. There is plenty of reason to hold their head high, and included in that is York’s recent play.

She was all over the game tape every outing in Florida. She was the player most featured in almost any game because of her action on the ball and her dynamic attacking quality. She finished the event with two goals, but she had countless attacking actions and key passes. York was a key difference-maker.

M Isabelle York, Tophat – York had five goals and two assists during the three games in California. She was the player of the event. She was unstoppable in the attack. She showed off her quality on the ball with dazzling dribbling displays to slalom past defenders. She showed off her passing and vision with the assists. Her elite attribute is the finishing with either foot. She scored some highlight reel worthy goals. The consistency of her shot from outside of the box is really impressive.

York is an attacking talent who is part of the US Soccer Youth National Team pool. She’s been one of the best talents in the Girls Academy and a leading light for the Tophat 2010 Gold program.

York can play on the left wing or as an attacking midfielder. She is an elite finisher at the youth level. She strikes the ball well with either foot and is a capable scorer from outside of the 18-yard box. York is an extraordinary passer too. She creates chances with her vision.

Her ability to beat the first defender off the dribble and play with her head up gives her a huge advantage and makes her one of the rare talents in this class on a national level.

York is the key for Tophat if West Florida decides to sit back in this game. She can break down the opposition with her passing just as well as she can beat it off the dribble. Her ability to win the duel makes her a top talent in this age group.

A player with outstanding technical ability, York was an exceptional midfielder on an already very talented TopHat team. She has a great understanding of space and how to escape pressure with a dribble and is able to use both feet well. Additionally, she had the ability to not only set her teammates up for shots with her passing ability, but she was also able to create her own shots with her dribbling ability and had great shot placement when getting into those positions.

Had a fantastic game today against Cincinnati Cup. She got on the scoresheet and was absolutely torching Cup’s defense on the dribble. She was really good at cutting off lanes defensively as she jumped in to make a bunch of interceptions to create counters.

York was a constant threat throughout the game with her expert passing and dazzling dribbling displays. She was electrifying every time she touched the ball. The creativity on the ball created a number of chances for her side. York ended up with the final goal of the game on a corner kick, that I believe, went directly into the goal.
