The captain of Lonestar ‘ last=’SC’] Red, Cox saw his team end the week with a win and two losses. The left-sided center back was a bright spot in the team and played a major role in their efforts. Despite not being very physical, Cox was very efficient with his defensive actions, reading plays well to make interceptions and using his positioning to keep opponents away from the penalty box and win possession. He also proved to be extremely valuable offensively, breaking lines with his passing, sending precise crosses into the penalty box from distance and even making some runs through the middle.
