About Jason

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a technical midfielder that can play either of the the three midfield positions as well as the backline. My primary Club position is the 8 but can easily transition to the 6 due to my physicality and box to box range. As an 8 I can attack like a 10 and defend like a 6. My included video supports this.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a strong minded mental player that plays within himself with discipline. I am a natural leader by personality, often setting the example and willing to take on responsibility and accountability.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am member of California Scholarship Federation. As part pf De La Salle HS I am required to volunteer each year for local charity participation.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been a leader on almost every sports team I have been involved with since I was young. I am also a great team member, supporting the plan, its about the team goals first, me second. Community service is expected as a student at De la Salle HS, as students, we enter to learn and learn to serve.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In 2020, at the beginning of COVID my Mom was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully she is in her 5th year of remission. During that time I had to change from public school to the San Ramon Christian Academy, support my family as I could to help my Mom. I learned that sometimes others need more help or attention than me. It helped me become more responsible and resilient.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to play college soccer at the highest level at a school that offer degrees in either math, engineering, science, or finance.

Craw is a new addition to the Lamorinda squad for this season. He was previously a standout at the ECNL level.
