Cook and Sting Dallas Black G06/05 will play against Match Fit Academy, FSA FC and Heat FC in this week’s event. She’s a defensive-minded outside back, who plays primarily on the left, and does a very good job of shutting opponents down. She’s very tenacious and won’t back down even against the most talented or physical opponents, giving her absolute best in every play. Cook is very smart with her action and also plays a major leadership role with the team, keeping her teammates engaged and communicating the entire time.

Cook did a good job with her mostly defensive roles as Sting’s left back. She had some difficult matchups, at times defending taller and more physical players, but never backed off and continued to play hard until the final whistle, in a certain way setting the tone for her teammates. Cook made some strong defensive plays and kept her level consistent during the entire match. She also had an important leadership role with Sting, communicating well with her teammates and helping keep the backline organized.
