While recently selected to the USYNT Talent ID Center and the Olympic Development Program (ODP) PDP State Pool Team, she will continue to get looks from USYNT scouts as well as from the Filipino U17 team identification program. Kaitlyn is definitely preparing herself to become a solid Division 1 player.

She’s a player I’ve evaluated a few times before. Each time I see her, she seems to be adding a little more to her game and skillsets. Her ability to read the game is one of her strengths. The box-to-box player can make it happen on both ends of the field. She made some clean tackles on the defense while making quick and decisive combo passes to players in open pockets. Really like the way she stays calm and collective even when competing against some of the best teams in the tourney. She’s a player who should have gotten a bunch of looks from scouts, especially as her team went undefeated at 2-0-1 and now posts a 14-4-3 record.

She displayed a calm presence on both the attacking and defensive ends of the pitch. Her ability to read the game gave her the advantage when making combo passes from the mid to the attacking third. She found pockets to receive and distribute clean passes during multiple combination passing plays. Her soccer IQ is pretty high and she is good at jumping into passing lanes for win-backs and disrupting opponents runs and passes. I like how she was decisive on making quick and direct passes for her two assists. Her scanning skills are definitely top level.
