McCloskey has verbally committed to playing college soccer in 2024 at Virginia Commonwealth University! The Brave are a new side in the ECNL, coming together as part of an agreement between  Braddock Road Youth Club (BRYC) and Vienna Youth Soccer (VYS)  starting this season. The merger has created a unique side and one of the major leaders is McCloskey, who also plays high school soccer at James Madison. The forward, working with mdifielder Eileen Harvey (more on her in a minute), has built a strong Brave spine, giving the new side some structure while the rest of the pieces come together. Her ability to move in between defenders and take quick, decisive shots has helped Fairfax remain competitive during Mid-Atlantic play.
