Her strengths were in making quick passes to runners over the top or in tight spaces. I really liked how she made attackers change their runs by cutting off angles. She also took a few strong shots and made some clean tackles to make the opposing team make their runs from the channels. I can definitely see her making a stronger impact during the next few days of the tourney. Keira played as a box-to-box player and contributed on both ends to let it be a 1-1 draw.

She is known for her ability to compete at high levels of competition while remaining calm, cool, and collected. Keira was named to multiple GA National Talent ID Selection rosters and helped her team win a USYS national championship. Her ability to play as a box-to-box player makes her a threat on both ends of the pitch. With her backline support and quick play on the counter-attack, she makes for a high-level midfielder who can also make an impact in the attacking third.

The previous mentioned attacking brilliance from Galaxy comes from a few players, but Stone was exception during the Group Stage. She was one of the best performers from the 2010 age group and her showing against RNY was certainly a high point. Stone could be the key to Galaxy’s success in Virginia.
