Dang comes from an athletic family with siblings play college volleyball. She is a fully committed soccer player and that competitive drive shines on the field. She loves the challenge of being matched up 1v1 on the wing with an attacking player. She will be physical and make sure the opposition knows she is there. There is no quiet setting to her game.
I think Dang’s future is at outside back, but she’s put up good game film in the center back role with her club team this season. She’s comfortable on the ball and can break pressure. She’s good at progressing the ball up the field off the dribble.
Dang is a top defender for her competitiveness, comfort on the ball, and ability to play any spot along the backline.
