Laird is a forward on the Bay Area Surf 2010 ECNL team. She plays center forward for her club team. Laird has been called into US Soccer Talent ID events in the past. She’s got a great first touch and a knack for the tactically nuance of her position. From watching game film, Lairn stands out for her ability to pull defenders away from areas to open up the center of the field for her teammates – especially the midfielders on Bay Area Surf . Laird could improve on her hold-up play. She has good control of the ball, but doesn’t use her body as effectively as possible to hold off defenders. There’s plenty of potential from the Surf striker and she should continue to be one of the top forwards in Northern California in the 2028 class.

She opened up the scoring by making a cut, then she turned on the afterburners to get by a defender before going far post with a left-footed rocket shot. She has the ability to make quick turns and has speed to get around the defense. She is also good at finding open pockets to receive passes and make decisive runs on goal. She plays club soccer for Bay Area Surf ECNL G10.
