Reyes is an outside back on the CUP 2011 GA team. She plays left back for her club team, but she’s fully capable of playing any spot across the back line. She played center back for her varsity team last season.

She’s a defender with comfort on the ball, high level soccer intelligence, and a drive to take on the challenge of defending the best player on the other team. Reyes was a standout for her club team this summer with consistent play. She was heavily involved in every game and always seemed to making the right choices.

Her ability to defend 1v1 on the wing is a strong part of her game. She’s got the physical profile for the college game and the athleticism to handle the top wingers she will face. Reyes is a gem in this class thanks to her soccer smarts, but she certainly has all the other intangibles to make her a top defender in this class.
