Lynleigh Nichols
About Lynleigh
Expert Analysis
Roshelle Gobin | Prep Soccer Scout
Nichols can be a strong defensive presence whether she’s playing center back or outside back. In either position, she keeps her head up and looks to connect with her teammates. She shows real strength as a defender, often winning 50/50 balls and staying grounded under contact. Additionally, when tracking back, Nichols uses her speed and physicality to cut off opponents and deny dangerous runs. Furthermore, her tactical awareness allows her to play short passes out of the back or find teammates further up the field.
She brings steadiness and reliability to the back line, quietly getting the job done and always making an impact. With her combination of strength, speed, and smart decisions. Ultimately, Nichols is a defender to keep in mind in Georgia’s 2029 class rankings update.
