About Maria

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with an aggressive attacking style. When I play as the forward I like to go to goal and get up for headers on crosses but also like to come back and get the ball at my feet and find my players out wide. I feel most comfortable with the ball at my feet.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very serious and dedicated when I am on the field. I am naturally a quiet person and it takes time for me to get comfortable, but I like to be a leader on the field. Guiding my players during the game and being a supportive teammate. I do not like to fail and will do everything in my power to be the best version of myself.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

After getting COVID in 2022 I developed Exercise Induced Asthma. I was not as naturally good at running and have always had to work harder in the aspect. When I started having trouble breathing whenever I would run I got worried and had quite a few doctor appointments to be able to figure out the cause. I have to work harder every single day to try and overcome this obstacle.
