Hernandez is a big part of FC Dallas’ strong defensive system as she forms an extremely solid center back duo with Kiara Gilmore Kiara Gilmore Kiara Gilmore null | D State #58 Nation TX . Although not super physical, the defender is excellent at reading the game and is always in the right spot to get stops. Hernandez is very intelligent and mobile and holds her own against anyone in 1v1 situations inside and around the penalty box. The center back has great quality and precision with her left foot, connecting precise passes and making a great impact in corner kicks and free kicks.

Hernandez will be representing FC Dallas G07, who will play Bay Area Surf, Beach FC and LAFC SoCal. The center back duo formed by Kiara Gilmore and her has been one of the best in Texas this season, as they allowed only three goals in 11 ECNL matches. Hernandez is very intelligent and technical and is excellent at anticipating plays and solving problems before they even happen. Despite not very tall, she’s also strong in 1v1 duels and dominates attackers with her body. Hernandez has an excellent touch on the ball as well, connecting short and long passes from the back and being in charge of the team’s corner kicks and free kicks.

FC Dallas’ left-sided center back played a great match, forming a solid duo with captain Kiara Gilmore Kiara Gilmore Kiara Gilmore null | D State #58 Nation TX . Hernandez used her intelligence and her reading of the game to dominate Challenge forwards, making several anticipations and cutting passing lanes – she was also very strong on 1v1 duels. Hernandez was very comfortable with the ball too and had an important role in the team’s buildup. Her passing was very accurate, she made some smart switches, finding open teammates on the right, and even drove the ball forward herself through the middle. The center back was also dangerous in set pieces, taking free kicks and corner kicks towards the penalty box.
