Big time athletic profile. Not just her height but her economy of movement. She scored two goals in what was the most entertaining game that I watched today as Herron’s GSA side lost 6-4 to De Anza Force . Her hold up play is excellent and she can chase the ball down in behind as well. She will have a ton of calls on June 15th from schools who are looking for someone to lead their front line.

In her sophomore season at North Oconee High School, she has earned First Team watch list recognition. She reached a career milestone of 50 goals. She also set a single-season record with 36 goals, highlighting her consistency and impact in the final third.
The GSA attacker is a key piece of the offense. She consistently finds space behind defenders. Her timing when making runs helps create quality scoring opportunities. Her movement off the ball and attacking instincts make her difficult to contain. If she maintains her current form into the final stretch of club play, watch Herron closely.

– Herron was effective in the attack in every game for

. She was a major reason why the offense punched in 12 goals in three games. The forward makes great runs off the ball. She does an excellent job varying her runs on when to cut on the diagonal and when to get straight in behind. Her finishing was also exceptional. She had some great goals from finishes at tough angles.

Herron is a midfielder on the GSA 2010 ECNL team. She was a standout from the ECNL playoffs. The more game film I watched on GSA, the more I believed she should be considered one of the player’s in this class with the highest ceiling. The way she sees the game and the decisions she makes on the ball give me the confidence to say she will be a top level midfielder at the college level – and provably higher in the future. The potential is easy to spot, and the contributions to the conference championship side has been crucial to the success. Herron is a name to know for anyone looking at the top players from the Southeast in this class.

Herron, the attacking midfielder, was the catalyst for the decisive moment in the victory over Dallas Texans in the Round of 16 game. She provided the perfect assist to Tyana Thomas for the game-winner. Herron showed her quality throughout the game with composure on the ball and quality passes. She had a good grasp on when to play one-touch and when to keep the ball at her feet to get her teammates involved. Thomas was also a top performer from the event. The forward was electric on the break and hard to stop.
