Piper Garvin Piper Garvin M/F State AZ is a top-level player who made the ECNL U16 Southwest All-Conference team in 24/25. She also contributed to Desert Vista’s 19-6-1 record last year. Piper also was a freshman starter who scored 21 goals and provided 5 assists. She is ranked #5 in Arizona and #2 in position (Midfield). Her large frame gives her advantages when going up for headers. Along with good ball control and and long strides in the open field, she is force to be reckon with. Her versatility on playing on both wings can also confuse players and give her the advantage when making runs into the 18. I’m definitely anticipating her scoring at least 30 goals and possibly 40 or more in the upcoming season.

Garvin is a winger on the Arizona Arsenal 09 ECNL team. She was an ECNL All-Conference First Team player for the Southwest last season. She can play on either side of the attack. Her height stands out – especially when considering she is playing against 2027s for the most part. Garvin uses her long legs and extended stride to her advantage when in 1v1 situations on the wing. She is great at creating an advantage from the battles on the island. She has good ball striking technique from the run of play and can hide the cross/shot approach really well – the ability to keep the goalkeeper on the line with her cross because she is capable of putting the effort on frame from tight angles opens up more of the 18-yard box for her fellow attackers and creates more assists for Garvin. She’s been excellent again this season for her club and also enjoyed a stellar high school campaign as a freshman.
