, this just happened a week ago. Rhea made history as being the youngest goal scorer in league and U.S. women’s professional soccer history. While covering her San Juan team and doing multiple evaluations on her play, one thing stood out at every match. Rhea is a certified goal scorer! In each of the three previous matches, she scored a minimum of 1 goal, with one game with a brace and another with a hat trick. There is no doubt that we will be seeing her playing up top in either the U-16 or U-17 team soon and eventually wearing the Red, White, and Blue at the senior level.

Absolute stud who I’m sure had quite a few calls on June 15th. There is something special happening at San Juan Soccer Club as they just spit out talent after talent. Moore is an incredible striker who was just in Europe with the Youth National Team and scored while she was there. Will she go to college or go pro? If I were to guess both options will be on the table for her.

Surprise, surprise Moore makes another National Team camp. San Juan SC really deserves a lot of credit. To have 3 players representing your club at these camps is an incredible achievement. Moore has been on trial in the NWSL at multiple clubs. She is an incredible finisher, she can find the corners and beat goalies with power as well. Times her runs really well to get in behind and has speed to burn to get on the end of it.

Got the hat trick on the day. Her first goal was from a slip pass just inside the 18 and one touched it as the goalkeeper came out for a challenge. Her second goal was from a PK. her left footed shot went low left corner. Her third goal came from just outside the 18 from a power shot. Overall, she had a field day and her ability to find open pockets gave her high percentage score opportunities.

She got an assist and hit the post 3 times. She must be frustrated not to have scored today but what a player this young lady is. Hits her shots so pure and has what I would say is 95th percentile speed, quickness and change of direction.

Moore is a really fun player to watch, because she has the nice blend of outright speed and she also has the stop and start agility, a quickness, that allows her to shake defenders and operate in tight areas. Moore is a forward with a great understanding of what is going to help her help the team. She knows when to lay the ball off, when to combine and when to find a pocket of space to operate in. She also knows when to carry the ball and take defenders on. She is a clinical finisher, scoring in a variety of ways. Her ability to beat the keeper, to finish from tight angles and to be calm when pressured by defenders is next level, and she has a powerful left foot from distance. She can also thread the needle to a running teammate or send a ball into the area that is dangerous and accurate.

This young star can’t be denied and I seem to talk about her every week. She scored an incredible 5 goals and chipped in 1 assist in her teams 9-1 win against De Anza. Enough said!

For the second week running this young lady makes the standout list and for good reason. She scored her teams lone goal against an MVLA team that has one of, if not the best defenses in all of ECNL.

Moore continued her dominant start to the season with two more goals in her teams 4-0 win against Davis. Rhea can play anywhere along the front line and is extremely powerful and explosive able to. Most power 4 colleges will be after this prospect when the time comes.
