Neves is a defensive midfielder who has been highlighted previously for her play with her club team, Slammers HB Koge 2010. She was recently awarded honors for her sophomore season with Santa Margarita. She is the conductor of her teams. She reads the game exceptionally well and seems to always be in the right spot. She makes great decisions on the ball and progresses the ball up the field with her sharp, accurate passing. Neves continues to impress as a top midfielder for her skill and smarts. 

It was difficult to pick just one standout from the Slammers HB Koge team. They were dominant during the event and got key contributions all over the field. I thought Neves deserved a special shoutout after the Round of 16 victory over Indy Eleven Pro Academy. She is a very talented defensive midfielder with high upside. Comfortable on the ball to build out of pressure, a true 360-degree player, and incredibly smart about her tactical positioning, Neves offers the key traits to be a top No. 6 at the international level in the future.
