Weber is a key cog in Stratford’s offensive system and one of the team’s hardest-working players. A very fast and intelligent player, she can be used as a striker, using her movement off the ball and positioning to generate chances, or a little bit deeper, splitting the chance-creating duties with Paul. She’s very direct with the ball around the penalty box, always trying to find the shortest route to the goal with her runs, and often draws fouls in dangerous spots. A lethal finisher, she also operates well as a facilitator, often getting assists or the pass that disorganizes opposing backlines.

Weber’s Albion Hurricanes FC G07 team is scheduled to match up against NC Fusion, SLSG Green MO and Michigan Hawks Magic over the weekend in Dallas. Her intensity in midfield will be one of the strengths of the team and will play a huge factor in its performance. Weber works very hard with and without the ball, serving as the team’s engine with her ability to cover ground and get involved in the game in her center midfield position. She plays more advanced roles for her high school team Stratford, having featured as a striker and an attacking midfielder, and she has the skills and the soccer IQ to impact the game offensively as well.

Weber played a fantastic game, leading Stratford to victory with a goal and two assists, besides drawing the free kick that resulted in the team’s third goal. She played as more of an attacking midfielder, but had a lot of freedom to roam in the attacking half and did it very well, exploring every inch of space allowed by Cy-Fair’s backline. Weber was very aggressive and direct on the ball and had great success in much of her runs, beating defenders off the dribble and using her pace to leave them behind. She assisted on the first goal with a smart flick-on header, made the entire play of the second with a great run down the right and scored the fourth with a beautiful chip over the goalkeeper.

A central midfielder with her club team Albion Hurricanes, Weber typically plays up top for the Spartans and is among the team’s main goalscorers. She’s not a big and physical target forward, but uses her quickness and movement off the ball extremely well inside the penalty box, often getting in position to score easy goals. Her offensive game is very complete and allows her to play in different ways as Weber is very good at dropping back and making combination plays through the middle but can also explore the space on the wings. Her strong engine also allows her to play with high intensity during entire matches.

Weber’s mobility up top is her main skill as an offensive player for her Albion Hurricanes FC G07 team. She’s very quick and very intelligent with her movement, always getting into good spots to get on the ball. Weber is very smart to make combination plays with her teammates through the middle and is a threat inside the penalty box, always placing herself in position to get on the end of crosses or available to get passes from midfield. She’s really good at identifying vulnerable spaces in the backlines and is very dangerous when she uses her pace to explore the space behind the outside backs. Weber plays with tremendous intensity and is able to maintain her level during entire matches.
