May is a forward with Youth National Team call-ups in the past. She was part of the Talent Identification event for US Soccer in Indianapolis in January. She was also a standout from the Girls Academy event in December. She is likely a winger at the next level and probably will have her choice of schools. She shined in January against the best defenders in the region in this age group and has been equally as good against older competition. May is right footed, but can play on the left and hits a very good cross with her left. She has quick feet and is extremely elusive on the dribble with her shiftiness. There is a hesitation in her game when she receives the ball as she almost seems to take a beat before she gets up to speed. The pause works in her favor though as she lets that moment of clarity dictate her next move, which makes her a difficult mark for defenders who try to anticipate. May’s effectiveness in the final third makes her a top forward from this class.
