Another top talent picking Georgia as their future home. The Top 10 Florida talent is going to be a problem for SEC opposition for years to come. She’s a fast, physical #9 who can finish at a high clip. FC Prime have developed a top talent who has every chance to get time right away for the Dawgs. I can see her as an SEC 1st Team selection down the road.

Barnes is a forward on the Florida United 08 GA team. She is one of the top prospects in the Girls Academy. Barnes has the tools to develop into a top No. 9 in the country. She is a physically imposing player with game-breaking ability. She can separate from defenders with ease with her speed. Barnes could improve on her finishing with her left foot. She can look a bit hesitant and uncomfortable when shots don’t set up perfectly on her weaker foot. It’s the difference between being a top player at the regional level compared to the national level. I think Barnes has the highest upside of any player I’ve seen from Florida in this class. As long as she continues to show improvement with her club side, there is reason to believe she will be a top national recruit next summer.

Tools to develop into a top No. 9 in the country. Physically imposing player with game-breaking ability. Barnes is putting it together consitently lately. She has the pace to just run past defenders, the skill to dribble around defenders in the box, and the strength to hold off defenders with ease. Barnes had a number of highlight reel moments in recent games in the Girls Academy.
