She’s a tough player who can give and take a hard tackle. Her ability to make string runs to the box, send long passes over the top, and fire shots from range is where she stood out. I really like her versatility, as she seemed to play primarily as a striker but was also lined up on the wings. Sorela is a smart player who looks for open pockets, and she plays with a no-fear attitude and high levels of intensity. Her presence on the field was felt by the opposing team as she had one of the most touches in the second half, and she got her team’s second goal to level the match at 2-2.

She primarily plays as a wingback and sometimes as a winger.  Sorela is good at playing the ball with both feet while making quick and precise passes.  Her ability to make strong runs down the channel opens up attacking lanes.  I like her style of play, which resembles hard running and strong challenges.  She’s a box-to-box player who can make an impact on both ends of the pitch.  Sorela plays club soccer for LA Surf Girls Academy 09, after 6 years with the LA Breakers 09 ECNL. She’s an inspirational player who should be able to get onto the state rankings sooner rather than later.
