Summer is a direct attacking midfielder. Her offensive aggressiveness is fantastic to watch. This type of talent sets her apart from many midfielders her age because of where she comes from on the pitch. She plays deeper than you expect from a box-crashing midfielder. Yet, she finds herself in the box constantly. Her composure in the box is phenomenal. These talents at the college level are going to be crucial. Being sort of a “ghost attacker” will see her bag plenty of goals if she transitions into the college level the way I expect her to.
