Ladd and her FC Dallas ECNL G10 team didn’t manage to get out of their group in the tournament’s U16 Division. The midfielder, however, was in top form in a 1-0 loss to Solar SC ECNL G11 in the group phase, delivering intensity and quality in the center of the field. Ladd was very active and efficient offensively, helping set up attacking plays with smart, first-time passes and doing a good job of driving the ball forward through the center of the field. She was also very determined defensively, working hard to shield the team’s backline and dropping deep to make defensive plays inside her own penalty box on some occasions.
