Stewart led the line for the SLSG Green team that went undefeated over the weekend, with one win and two ties. I got to watch her in their 0-0 tie with Challenge SC and she was always very active on the final third. A tall and physical player, Stewart was the focal point of SLSG’s offense and she displayed a solid all-around game, doing solid holdup play, but also drifting wide to explore the space. She had a good presence inside the penalty box to finish chances, but also displayed the ability to create for her teammates. Stewart also did solid defensive work, putting pressure on opposing defenders and forcing them to play long.
