The Texas class of 2025 is loaded with top talents in the ECNL, Girls Academy, and other leagues. The sophomore class includes the Gatorade State Player of the Year and 2022 Concacaf U15 Championship Golden Ball winner Kennedy Fuller Kennedy Fuller 5'5" | F Southlake Carroll (TX) | 2024 #1 Nation TX , who is the No. 1 player in the class. Fuller is one of eight players from Solar in the top 15 in the rankings.
The number of Solar players would have been higher, but two of the top prospects from the club left during the offseason. Trinity Armstrong, an ECNL All Conference honoree and participant in the ECNL National Training Camp, left to join IMG Academy (Florida). Zoe Matthews, another ECNL All Conference Honoree from the Solar 07 team, decided to transfer to Legends (California) this club season, but will still play for Southlake Carroll (Texas) for her high school ball. The PrepSoccer rankings use the location of the players club team for their state ranking.

Kiara Gilmore Kiara Gilmore null | D State #66 Nation TX is a standout center back for the FC Dallas 07 team. She was a key piece of the squad that won the 2022 Dallas Cup in April. She is a shutdown defender who can matchup against the best attacker. She is also very good on the ball and finds outlets quickly when gaining possession. Gilmore had a standout campaign in the ECNL last season, which earned her an invite to a U.S. Youth National Team ID Center in Dallas this year.
Camila Palacios Camila Palacios F Claudia Taylor Johnson | 2025 State #251 Nation TX is an attacking talent from Classics Elite who had a standout campaign in the ECNL and earned a spot on the ECNL All-Conference Second Team for the 06 age group. She has a good first touch and is intelligent in her decision-making. Palacios is strong on the ball and can withstand a challenge. She has a good right foot and can score from outside of the box. She is likely a winger at the next level, but could figure as a center forward with her strength and skill. Classics Elite teammate Alexis Montgomery Alexis Montgomery M Round Rock | 2025 TX looks like a player to watch as well from the class of 2025 on this club team.
Molly Teed Molly Teed null | F Independence | 2025 State #255 Nation TX is an attacking talent from Sting Dallas Black 07 ECNL squad. She is a standout for her off the ball movement, she finds pockets of space to offer an outlet for her teammates. She has a good first touch and can play with a defender on her back. She does well playing quickly and linking with her teammates through the center channel. The next stage in her development should focus on field awareness as there were times when she failed to check her shoulders before receiving the ball.
Ellie Hodsden is a forward with breakaway speed who has dominated the competition in the Girls Academy 06 age group over the last two seasons. She is a good finisher in breakaway situations. She does well in 1v1 duels as she has a good change of pace and nice close control. She likes to play on left wing to get room to cut in on her right.
Kennedy is a defender with some versatility. She can play as a center back, but she also has shown the tools to contribute as an outside back. She has a strong foot and can connect long passes to find outlets or break press with balls over the top. Reed plays up an age group with the AHFC 06 team in the ECNL. She did well in challenges and aerial duels during the past ECNL season.
