PrepSoccer Player of the Week (Dec. 13)

It was the last weekend of the 2022 club season for many teams - as some head to winter break and others head to a longer break for the high school season. 

With a number of teams on hiatus due to the previous week's showcases, there were only a handful of leagues in action. Below are the nominees for the PrepSoccer Player of the Week honor. Vote in the poll at the bottom of the page. The poll will close on Thursday afternoon.

Lily Bracken Lily Bracken GK Bishop Lynch | 2024 TX , Sting Black - Bracken had zero goals conceded while she was in the game during the three games over the weekend. Sting played with only 11 players on the final day of games and Bracken played as forward in the second half. She scored a goal on a penalty kick in the first game of the weekend.  

Alisha Spears, Sting Austin - Spears scored the game-winner in the 1-0 victory over DKSC. Spears scored off an assist from Emma Alvarado Emma Alvarado M TX . Kami Aguilar and Sam Walker combined in goal for the shutout. 

Shaylin Taylor, FC Dallas - Taylor scored both goals in FC Dallas' game against Challenge SC on Saturday. Lauren Alvarez Lauren Alvarez F State #103 Nation TX , Emeline Holder Emeline Holder 5'6" | M/F Coppell | 2027 State TX , Leah Edler Leah Edler 5'9" | M/D Walnut Grove | 2027 State TX , Keira Floyd Keira Floyd D Guyer | 2026 State TX , Britland Ramsey, Lily Stone Lily Stone F State TX , Brooklyn Hubbard Brooklyn Hubbard D State TX , and Ava Garvin Ava Garvin 5'7" | D/M Panther Creek | 2026 State #367 Nation TX were standouts on the weekend for FC Dallas.

Evan O’Steen Evan O’Steen 5'10" | GK/F None | 2025 #3 Nation TX , Solar SC - O'Steen recorded a shutout in goal on Sunday against OK Energy. She was the leading scorer on Saturday against Tulsa SC. Morgan Landry Morgan Landry F Wakeland | 2026 State TX scored the lone goal on Sunday. Jordan Hill Jordan Hill 5'8" | F/M Hebron | 2026 State #3 Nation TX , Kamdyn Fuller Kamdyn Fuller M/F Southlake Carroll | 2026 State #50 Nation TX , London Young London Young M State #19 Nation TX , Nina Dukette Nina Dukette 5'6" | D/F Timber Creek | 2026 State #121 Nation TX , Savannah Johnson Savannah Johnson M/D Parish Episcopal | 2026 State #108 Nation TX , Rhiannon Mahon Rhiannon Mahon 5'10" | D/M Prosper | 2026 State #5 Nation TX , Kaylee Williams Kaylee Williams D Lamar | 2026 State TX , Elena Reyna Elena Reyna 5'4" | D/M Lake Dallas | 2026 State TX , and Presley Wilkerson Presley Wilkerson 5'10" | M/D Southlake Carroll | 2027 State #135 Nation TX were also standouts for Solar. 

Reese Carmody Reese Carmody D/F Skyline | 2024 UT , La Roca - Carmody scored the game-winning goal against Crossfire Premier on Sunday. La Roca went 2-0 on the weekend with a win over Seattle United on Saturday. Sophie Neves scored the game-winner on Saturday. 

Riga Kallaba, FC United - Kallaba scored a goal off an assist from Olivia Del Torro in the win over Lou Fusz. Callie Tumilty, Audrey Alberts, and Olivia Hernandez also scored during the event. Sophia Holtzman chipped in with an assist. Eme McClenahan recorded a shutout against SC City.
