Prep Soccer will be following the action and constantly providing match reports on some of the most exciting duels and highlighting the players that are standing out for their teams. We’ll also be presenting some of the most promising teams that we get to watch live so you know them a little bit better.
Tompkins Falcons
The Tompkins Falcons from Katy are one of the contending teams in the UIL Division 6A – Region 3, District 19. The Falcons are an emerging force in the area, having made it to the playoffs in the last four seasons and competed in the Regional Finals in 2020-2021. With most of their key players being seniors and juniors, Tompkins will be able to benefit from their experience this season.
Players to Watch
Jacob Robisch
Jacob Robisch
Robisch is a key piece in Tompkins’ defensive system with the reliability he’s able to bring to the team. The center back has good size and is very strong in the air, but also holds his own extremely well when he need to get outside of the penalty box to challenge opponents. Robisch reads the game very well and is really efficient in anticipating plays and cutting passing lanes. He likes to keeps things simple when in possession and often connects clean passes.

Braylon Le Braylon Le F TX
Originally a forward, Le has adjusted well to his new role as a right-back with Tompkins and has been displaying impressive defensive solidness there. He’s really strong in 1-v-1 duels and does an excellent job of protecting his zone and forcing opponents away from the penalty box. Le is also strong in the air and gets to clear a lot of long balls that go his way. Another very positive trait of his game is his positioning. Be it on defense, by tucking inside or moving wider, or in possession, he’s always in good spots to make plays.
Ryan Sharma
Ryan Sharma
Sharma plays on the right side of Tompkins’ midfield and brings a lot of energy to the team with his game. He’s got a lot of offensive skills and is very aggressive on the ball, dribbling it forward as much as he can and doing his best efforts to take it to the end line and get a cross in. Sharma is also very good at bringing the ball inside and drawing his defender with him, freeing up space wide for fullbacks to overlap. He also works hard on the defensive side of the ball, tracking back and providing some defensive support.
Jose Ramos
Jose Ramos
The Falcons’ captain, Ramos is the player capable of making a difference on offense with his skilled game. He’s very good at dribbling the ball forward and often makes good decisions when in possession, not rushing or forcing plays. Ramos is capable of creating for himself but also for his teammates as he always looks for combination plays and to feed players who are in better spots. He has a good presence to finish plays in the penalty box and is extremely efficient with set pieces.

Marco Boone Marco Boone M TX
Boone uses his physical tools very well to play as a target striker for Tompkins. He’s very good with his holdup play and does an excellent job of offering a passing option to his teammates from anywhere on the field. Boone is also extremely mobile and often drops deep or moves to the flanks to combine with his teammates. He has great presence inside the penalty box and is often in position to get on the end of crosses.
