She helped a defense that did not allow a goal from the run of play in the last 19 matches of the season. Ava Mitchell of Valley Christian was chosen as the defensive POY in the West Catholic Athletic League while [player_tooltip player_id='19443' first='Gianna' last='Rodrigues'] was a stellar center back for San Ramon Valley. </p>

<p>MIDFIELDERS: Another Saint Francis player headlines this group as another Stanford commit, WCAL MVP and PrepSoccer State POY [player_tooltip player_id='33296' first='Charlotte' last='Kohler'] leads the midfield. Not far behind her is Lizzie Vranesh of Carondelet. A very underrated player who is heading to play at Cal. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='19744' first='Laila' last='Edris'] of Mountain View was the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League MVP and [player_tooltip player_id='20117' first='Rylan' last='Park'] of Monte Vista was a standout all year and is heading to Utah.</p>

<p>FORWARDS: The Bay Area is loaded with top forwards and narrowing it down to three was very hard. [player_tooltip player_id='41229' first='Lauren' last='Kenny'] of Carondelet, who is headed to Oregon, was a stud all year, scoring 27 goals and leading the Cougars to League and Section titles and a State title match appearance. [player_tooltip player_id='19981' first='Murphy' last='Walsh'], just a sophomore, stood out for Archbishop Mitty and was the WCAL Striker of the Year. Kerana Shah of Mountain View had 22 goals and nine assists and is one of the more versatile forwards in the Bay Area. </p>
