ECNL Girls Florida: Five Texas Midfielders to Watch

A lefty, she likes to play in wider positions and is very aggressive on the ball, going at defenders and using her pace to beat them and make plays. Montes is dangerous when taking the ball to the end line to make crosses or pass the ball to teammates on the edge of the penalty box, but can also drop inside and facilitate plays with her accurate passing. Boswell does a very good of covering ground in the central area of the field and shielding the team's backline, but is probably even more important in possession, breaking pressure with quick combination plays through the middle and connecting good passes upfield.
