What. A. List. Eight girls committed to play college soccer, seven of them going Division I as the only three that are not committed are sophomore. Those three sophomore are so good that if they could be committed, colleges would have already offered. The Orange County area is teeming with girls soccer players who will be playing at the next level.

KEEPER: [player_tooltip player_id='20057' first='Peyton' last='Trayer'] of Santa Margarita is just a sophomore, but was already chosen as a league Defensive player of the year, earning that honor in the Trinity League, the best league in the state.

DEFENDERS: Only two defenders on the list, but they are good. The first is a senior, [player_tooltip player_id='19262' first='Charlotte' last='Memoly'] of Santa Margarita, who is going to play at San Jose State next year. The other is one of the three aforementioned sophomore, [player_tooltip player_id='174033' first='Taylor' last='Ortiz'] of Capistrano Valley, who is a fast, active and brave outside defender.

MIDFIELDERS: This is a very special group of players, with four DI commits and a sophomore. [player_tooltip player_id='18939' first='Molly' last='MacMillan'] from Santa Margarita is going to be playing at the University of Texas next season, while Shannon Nettekoven from Mater Dei will be playing at Cal State Fullerton. Two juniors who are already committed join this group as Kai Tsakiris of Capistrano Valley will be playing at Florida after her 2025 graduation, and [player_tooltip player_id='54271' first='Viviana' last='Zacarias'] of Los Alamitos is heading to Colorado State. The sophomore is Zacarias's teammate at Los Al, as [player_tooltip player_id='82414' first='Zamorah' last='Malinoski'] is an exceptional talent and the tandem will be perhaps the best midfield in the Southern Section next season.

FORWARDS: Three seniors, three college commits and two of them are going to USC. [player_tooltip player_id='19406' first='Faith' last='George'], the Trinity League MVP, has been committed to USC since she was a junior as [player_tooltip player_id='18924' first='Lily' last='Biddulph'] from Mater Dei is also committed to USC. Lauren Longworth from Capistrano Valley is heading to play at Hawaii Pacific next season.
