Slammers FC HB Koge had a number of standouts from the event. I was particularly impressed with Malinoski after reviewing game film. The center attacking midfielder was the lynchpin for her side. She was great defensively in her positioning and effort. She chased down every bad touch near her and forced the opposition into mistakes. The effort she exerted was matched by her teammates and everyone was hounding the opponent. Malinoski’s creativity in the passing opened up the first and let the attackers shine.

Malinoski continues to prove she is one of the best players in the country in the 08 age group. Slammers Koge has utilized her as an attacking midfielder and it’s unleashed a creativity and tactical brilliance to her game. Watching Malinoski off the ball in transition is where she shines, she is always communicating and demonstrating for her teammates where to play the pass because she is thinking two passes ahead. She was dominant in the victory over De Anza Force.
